The project brings together an interdisciplinary team of community workers and stakeholders (Environment Waikato as the lead agency) and social, environmental and economic researchers within New Zealand (Landcare Research, AgResearch, New Zealand Centre for Ecological Economics, NIWA, Scion, University of Waikato) and internationally (Research Institute for Knowledge Systems - Netherlands, University of Maryland - USA, and Université de Versailles Saint Quentin-en-Yvelines - France).
